Last Fri Hasse finally became a Doktor, in the Swedish style, holding a public defense of his thesis. In 30 minutes he summarised 5 years of work, before a fairly friendly 'opponent' and a few 'judging panel' members asked questions about it for more than another 1.5 hours. Then it was time to Fest.
